Enable Single Finger Scrolling for SharePoint 2010

by on July 3, 2012

SharePoint Scrolling Doesn’t Work on My iPhone!

Because SharePoint uses a div instead of native browser scrolling capabilities, functionality on iPhone and iPad devices is difficult, requiring two fingers instead of one to scroll the content.

This can be OK on an intranet, where a bit of training can go a long way, but how is a user visiting your public facing site supposed to know this?

iOS 5 CSS Override

This will work on all updated iPad and iPhones of 3GS and higher, which will have iOS 5 or greater. You can place it in a master page or CSS file – whichever works better for your situation.
